Welcome to our final newsletter for 2018!
As I look back on the year, I recall a number of challenges but more so I am inspired by many positive events and people. We at Advivo were particularly gratified by the support for our inaugural Business Driving A Difference (BDAD) Event and the support it and the four charities showcased received from attendees and sponsors. We at Advivo are always excited at the difference we make with businesses who engage with us fully for regular meetings to ”help take them to the next level” but when we see what a difference BDAD can make to the community, in general, that is really uplifting.
This month, we have deliberately kept our newsletter short and light but remind you of the special circumstances that arise this time of year with Christmas parties and forced leave periods due to Christmas period closures. I also know many of us take advantage of the opportunity for long distance travel to visit family, friends or just to take a holiday and I remind you of the heightened risk when travelling and the need to ensure before travelling that your will and estate plan is up to date and effective.
Finally, on behalf of the partners and staff at Advivo, I take the opportunity to wish you and your families a Happy and Healthy Christmas and a Prosperous 2019!

Childcare Business Matters Workshops
In November our managing partner Leon Stephan was part of the Childcare Business Matters workshops in Brisbane and Sydney. Childcare Concepts is a childcare brokerage, helping centre owner find new buyers for their centres. Leon spoke on what to consider when building a childcare centre business; with the need to increase occupancy, drive business growth and get the right people in the right roles to sustain that growth. With over 20 years’ experience in Childcare, Advivo specialises in valuing centres and helping those businesses grow and transition to the next level. Advivo’s approach is important to help owners prepare the business for sale and get the best price along the way.

Advivo in the Community – Monthly Charity Contribution
The recent fires in Queensland have left a trail of destruction, with many homes and possessions lost, we reflect on the year and have decided to give our monthly donation to the who help protect those affected now and in the future by buying vital equipment.
The Rural Fire Brigades Association of Queensland (RFBAQ) is a Charity and it includes more than 1,400 volunteer brigades, and more than 36,000 volunteers (both firefighters and support members). They are recognised as the peak body supporting and representing Queensland’s Rural Fire Brigade volunteers.
