Advivo’s Involvement with Charity
This year Advivo are getting behind multiple Charities to show our support for some great organisations that help our community.
We recently entered the Rotary Club of Kingscliff Duck Race which supports the Rotary Club in the area. The team at Advivo dressed up our duck and he has become our team mascot.
One of our partners, Chris Morris, will soon take part in the Annual MS Brissie to the Bay on the 19th of June 2016 to show support for people living with MS. This is a great cause and we will be getting behind Chris as he attempts to concur the 100km course, we invite you to click here if you would like to donate to Chris’s ride and support MS.

Small Business Tax Concession Refused: Threshold Test Failed
An individual has been unsuccessful before the Federal Court in seeking access to the small business capital gains tax (CGT) concessions after selling a business. In particular, the Court held that the taxpayer had incorrectly excluded a loan when calculating whether he met one of the threshold tests in order to access the tax concessions. Full Article
Travellers with Student Debts Must Give Contact Details to ATO
Australians with student debts who are travelling or living overseas for longer than six months will soon have the same repayment obligations as they would have when living in Australia. These people will need to register their overseas contact details with the ATO. Repayment obligations will commence from 1 July 2017 (for income earned in the 2016–2017 financial year). Full Article
