Are You Ready for the End of Financial Year?
The End of Financial Year is almost upon us! This week, we saw the release of the 2023-2024 Federal Budget. As expected a budget surplus was delivered for the first time since the Global Financial Crisis, albeit noted as only temporary. This budget is focused on cost of living measures with targeted support for individuals and families as opposed to major tax reform or substantial support for small businesses. You can also find a full copy of our report below. Please RSVP here. This month, our blogs are focused aptly on Tax and EOFY. We pose the question of whether you’re ready for the new financial year, a plan for how to best optimise your taxation position for 2023 and outline the 2023-2024 Budget for those of you who missed it. We give tips on creating an effective budget for your business and outline whether you need to review your business’s capital structure. With EOFY in sight, please be sure to review the pre 30 June checklist linked below to ensure that you’ve got all your ducks in a row as we enter the new financial year. Finally, don’t forget to register for our next Business Booster Event – Automate, Eliminate, Delegate – on May 25th, featuring guest speaker and automation expert, Jane McLeod. You can find out more details about this event and register to attend below. At Advivo, we’re the experts in business tax helping you get ready for EOFY. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you have about getting your business ready for this important time of year.
In late April, our new financial advice partner, Virtual Financial, guided us through how to ‘Retire Early and Protect Your Family’ in a special webinar event. I would like to thank the team at Virtual Financial for running this event with us and providing insight on this topic for our clients and articulating the services we can now offer through them. If you missed this event and would like to attend, there is a second session on the 30th May –Kind Regards,
