The votes are in for the charity of the Month! The October donation recipient is The Mental Health Association – Harold Peacock’s Kosciuszko Hike for Health, as part of our commitment to our local community, Advivo has donated $100 this month to The Mental Health Association – Harold Peacock’s Kosciuszko Hike for Health.
The Mental Health Association QLD envisages a community where optimal mental health and wellbeing is encouraged and supported, resulting in strengthened community resilience, and enhanced holistic health of all Australians.
We aim to promote awareness and understanding of mental health in the community, and to assist people to access relevant and timely information and appropriate services and support.
In November 2018, Harold Peacock is climbing the top ten peaks in Australia that are all located in the Kosciuszko National Park of New South Wales to support the Mental Health Association. He’ll be completing all ten summits in four days, including Australia’s highest mountain Mt Kosciuszko. The combined height of all ten peaks is 21,788 metres. The purpose is to build awareness and raise funds for the Mental Health Association to continue its work saving lives, and to highlight the awesome world in which we live.
