Does Your Business Have An Estate Plan?
A message from our Managing Partner,
I know I say it every year, but I cannot believe we have just a few weeks left of 2023. Many of you are likely making your end-of-year preparations and organising your Christmas parties. In the midst of this, for November we want to draw your attention to an incredibly crucial aspect of every business – estate planning.
Our blogs for this month tackle this very important topic from a number of different angles. Advivo Partner, Dale Edwards, outlines some efficient estate planning strategies to ensure you are on the right track with your plan. To expand on this, Advivo Partner, Chris Morris, also explains how you can align your estate plan with your business exit plans. Next, I break down the question of whether your business really needs a buy-sell agreement. Finally, we provide the ways that Advivo can help you stay proactive in your business. I also wanted to take a moment to thank all of our clients who attended our SMSF Educational Lunch at the end of October. This was an incredibly insightful event, and it provided an excellent opportunity to speak to our SMSF clients face-to-face. Although we will not be running a Business Booster event in November, we have prepared a document around making the most of the current economic climate in Brisbane and the opportunity presented by the run-up to the Olympics. We will deliver this to your inbox by the end of the month. We are looking forward to hosting more in-person events, as well as our regular Business Booster Events, in 2024. To sign off – if you have any additional questions about estate planning, or any of your end-of-year preparations, please don’t hesitate to reach out.Kind Regards,
