With September comes a new season, and a time to celebrate Family Businesses. The 19th of September is National Family Business Day, hence our article in this month’s newsletter. Family business is the backbone of Australia, they represent approximately 70% of all Australian businesses and employ about 50% of our workforce. We would also like to formally invite you to our final Business Booster Event for 2022, “How to Find and Retain Staff for your Business – A Panel Discussion”, which will be held on the 27th of October. This will be a panel discussion with Kim Acworth, from Acworth Recruitment and Darrin Draw from Business360, where participants will have to opportunity to ask questions of experienced people working in the Recruitment and HR industry. This event will be majorly driven by participant engagement, and there will be a discussion on the broader topics of Staff Retention and Recruitment.
